The recent announcement of the $120,000 Battle for the Carolinas Gladiator Polo™ Fall Series presented by Coca-Cola coming to Tryon International Equestrian Center has us on the edge of our seats for the most competitive series of arena polo matches yet! Over 10,000 fans flocked to the Greenville vs. Charlotte match in June, and it’s about to get a lot more intense in the George H. Morris Arena beginning September 1st? Why? Because nobody can cheer like fans from the Carolinas… and this time it’s all going to come down to an epic battle of North Carolina vs. South Carolina during the series championship!

Yup, football season has nothing on the $120,000 Battle for the Carolinas Gladiator Polo™ Series presented by Coca-Cola. How’s it all going to go down? Catch a preview of the highly anticipated rivalries below… and let’s just say… choose your team wisely!

September 1st: The Battle For South Carolina

Greenville is known for the beautiful Falls on the Reedy, the Swamp Rabbit biking trail, The Greenville Drive minor league team, tons of restaurants, The Greenville Zoo, The Peace Center, and more! For those of you Greenville fans, make sure to come cheer on your guys as they compete on September 1st!

You might have heard the phrase “Charlotte’s got a lot,” and it is SO true! Charlotte is known for being the home of the Panthers Bank of America Stadium, the BB&T Ballpark, Carowinds, U.S. National Whitewater Center, Charlotte Motor Speedway, loads of restaurants and more! Charlotte fans, you know how to get rowdy for your teams. Let us hear you on September 9th, and don’t forget to wear Team Charlotte’s colors – blue!

Save the date because it’s all going to come down to North Carolina vs. South Carolina! 

So, Fans? Are we going to hear you on September 1st, 9th, and 30th!?!

Wear your team colors, hold up your team signs, cheer as loud as you can! Pick a side when you come watch, because the cheering sections will be designated by team banners. We can’t wait to see everyone for the most exciting, edge of the seat watching sport at TIEC – GLADIATOR POLO!
