Mill Spring, NC – January 16, 2017 – Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC) has announced a new initiative, offering Schooling Days at the facility for hunter, jumper, dressage, and mini-driving competitors. Hosted every Saturday from January 28th to February 25th the venue will open five rings from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. for riders to school their horses in several different disciplines.
Schooling Days will offer an opportunity to train on world-class ESI all-weather footing in five different competition arenas around grounds. Each ring will be maintained and dragged throughout the day during every Schooling Day event. Ring 1 and Ring 2 fence heights and coordinating schedule will be posted on www.tryon.com every Thursday preceding the event. All participants will be required to sign a waiver and must display their assigned TIEC back number when on grounds.
Rings Open: 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Ring 1 – Hunter Ring
Ring 2 – Jumper Ring
Ring 3 – Open/Flat Ring
Ring 4 – Dressage Ring w/ one full arena and 1/2 arena
Ring 5 – Mini Horse Obstacles/Driving Ring
Current negative coggins documentation will be required for each participating horse and must be presented at the Security Gate at the entrance of TIEC. Daytime stalls are available for $35/day, while the participation fee is $75 per horse, payable to the TIEC Horse Show Office on the day of the event. No pre-registration is required and EMT and TIEC security staff will be present throughout the duration of each “Schooling Days” event. Parking and facility maps will also be available at the Security Gate prior to entering the venue.
