Inaugural Earl Scruggs Music Festival Postponed to 2022

Mar 4, 2021 - 11:59 AM

For Immediate Release

Shelby, NC – March 4, 2021

Because of the uncertainty of gathering for indoor events at the Tryon International Equestrian Center this summer, we’ve decided to postpone the festival until 2022. As always, our top priority is for the health and safety of festival staff, artists, volunteers, sponsors, vendors & patrons.

We appreciate your willingness this past year to support the festival by holding on to your tickets, which may be used for the 2022 festival. Changes to the lineup will be announced in the very near future. Since the Earl Scruggs Music Festival is a fundraiser for Isothermal Community College and the Earl Scruggs Center, tickets holders may also convert their festival purchase to a tax-deductible donation to help support the festival’s transition to 2022.
